Hi. My name is Elizabeth and I have been riding over 20 years now. I originally learned how to ride western, but over time took up an interest in english riding which is now what I primarily do.  I learned to ride at the age of 13 and got my first horse at 14. When I turned 20 I moved out to New Mexico and groomed professionally for two event riders. I actively trained and groomed for them for several years before moving back to California. I competed throughout the years starting with hunter/jumper schooling shows then moved into eventing.  I am currently offering full grooming services. Body Clipping and horse show prep-such as clipping, mane pulling, etc..I also will exercise ride on a case by case basis.

12-10-10 Due to several circumstances I have decided to take the winter off. I plan to continue and enjoy Tawny and see what the future brings for us both. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year!

11-1-10 While Tawny has been in my care, I have really taken to her and I will be leasing her with option for purchase next year. I am excited to take this new journey with her.

10-3-10 E. Ruiz Training is proud to welcome Tawny to our place. Tawny is a 3 year old Kiger mustang filly that is coming to us for consignment. She's settled right in and will start back to work this week. She has completed her first 90 days with Sandy Smyth and will continue with us until sold.
